The images above are sketches for panels 16 and 17 of Victor Moscoso’s KSAN Bus Sign Group (1971)

From Heritage Auctions: “In November 1971, riders of the San Francisco Municipal Bus System were treated to an unusual site inside each bus -- in place of the usual placard ads for Wrigley’s Chewing Gum and other advertisers was this 60’ loop that began in the front, working all the way around to the driver, and back again, all advertising the city's hippest radio station, KSAN 95 FM. Zap Comix artist Victor Moscoso filled the black and white panels, some measuring up to 59” wide by 12” tall, with swirling images that morphed into one another. It’s all very much in line with Moscoso’s work in the early Zaps, and in his own Color comic.
