Growing up in the 1950s, there were names that emerged and went on to infamy. Obviously there were the Nazis, including Hitler, Goebbels, Göring, Himmler, and so many more, and the dictators, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. In the United States leading voices of venality included Joe McCarthy, Roy Cohn, Nixon and his crew, including Haldeman and Ehrlichman, and many others.

In our current times, there are many well-known individuals steeped in hatred, who have negatively impacted the lives of people around the world. There are also names that are not (yet) as well known to many. Below is the beginning of my list of those whom I believe have secured a place on The Wall of Shame. My hope is that in the future, history will reflect the ignominy of these individuals. Shame on all of them.
